A Surprising Anniversary Card

Yup, for your information, i really don't like to act romantic because it chills my spin and i feel awkward , these feelings happen whenever i watch romantic movies, but... when i do wanna act romantic, i will make sure that my little girlfriend feel as if falling down from the sky.

Anniversary is approaching and i'm looking forward to that day. As what my girlfriend said, i never did anything that surprises her or impresses her, so i am planing to do something secretly to show that i am capable of making her feel romantic.

2 years ago she made these memory cards for my birthday, so i am going to make back a nice anniversary card for her.

So i did some research and found one easy pop up card to make for the anniversary card.

For the ingredients, i went to a stationary shop and bought 2 black papers, gold/silver ink pens and gold/ silver sparkling powders, i bought extra just to test the colours.

And don't forget these.
The first black paper was going to make the hearts. First i fold it half and draw the heart shape, cut it and fold it out.

Then, for the other small hearts,i did it carefully because things got tricky when it's complicated. .

And i did decorate it

For the second black paper, what i did was, i made it as the cover for the folded hearts.i drew a heart shape in the paper and glued some gold sparkling powder. Finally, i combined them together. i cut the pop up hearts paper smaller so that it looks nicer.

Thanks god, it took me 2 and a half hour to finish this. I hope she likes it.=)

Prestige

"When performing a task, it is more important to be impeccable than to do it for the sake of prestige. Impeccability naturally result is prestige."- Sayadaw U Pandita

So you may want to know what does prestige means, it simply means that a general respect or admiration felt for someone or something by reason of rank, proved high quality, etc. In Chinese, 威信, 威望, 声望 .

Then what does impeccable means? It means faultless, perfect. In Chinese, 无懈可击, 完美的 .

Do things perfectly but not for fame or higher recognition. Sometimes doing things perfectly may bring you a higher recognition. In real life, we humans tend to do things to show off or to gain a higher respect from the people around us and we did simply forget to do things perfectly and faultlessly. And for most of the time when we perform task just for prestigious we end up having the opposite effects,....."shame".
